Elmar Pohl successfully defended his dissertation

Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Elmar Pohl, Managing Director of OWI Science for Fuels gGmbH, successfully defended his dissertation at the Institute for Industrial Furnaces and Heat Engineering (IOB) at RWTH Aachen University on June 26, 2020. The dissertation deals with the topic “Modellbasierte Analyse der Systemzuverlässigkeit unter beschleunigten Lebensdauertests für die Brennstoffversorgung eines Ölbrenners” (Model-based analysis of system reliability under accelerated lifetime tests for the fuel supply of an oil burner).
Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Elmar Pohl successfully defended his dissertation at the RWTH Aachen University.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Herbert Pfeifer from IOB was the first examiner of the dissertation and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Epple from the Chair of Process Control Engineering at RWTH Aachen University was the second examiner. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Tobias Kleinert, head of the Chair of Process Control Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, was the chair of the examination.
